People’s speech, actions and interpretations tend to be shaped by their own experiences, worldview, memories, cultural values, expectations and interests. Our perspectives are tied to location and restricted, and our academic understanding is no exception.

The GEI Annual Conference 2023 'Considering Perspectives in Educational Media: Conditions – Negotiation Processes – Opportunities' explores the different (subject-specific and didactic) research debates concerning the multifaceted dimensions of perspectives in school education and educational media.

Papers on other, and more general, themes of the conference are also welcome. The conference will include a range of formats: from lightning talks to interactive discussion forms. Abstracts suggesting other preferred formats may also be submitted.
